  I recently bought a little vintage 1972 Shasta travel trailer to restore. Shastas like this are highly prized among vintage trailer enthusiasts, and there was work I wanted done on it that I didn't feel i was qualified to do to the standards expected in vintage trailer restoration. So I took it to Miles. I asked them to replace all lines and regulator for LP gas, plus add a new tank, make sure the taillights were working and the marker lights as well, many of which needed to be replaced. Also asked them to repair the spot on the rear corner where it had been hit, and to add a 15 amp breaker with plug for a small air conditioner. Oh, and to replace the missing safety chain. They also said they would take care of getting new tires, greasing the bearings in the axle, and sandblasting and painting the rims.
  
  They had the trailer for a couple of weeks, and I paid them over $1,000, and found that they had not added the 15 amp breaker but had in fact changed out the line running from the breaker to the shore power, getting rid of my external outlet, something everyone likes to have, using that spot for my external connection to shore power. I had to pay someone else to put the 15 amp breaker and plug in. Also, when I picked up the trailer to take it home, no one bothered to go over with me all that they'd done. (No wonder!) There was still no second safety chain welded on as it should've been, but they sent one of the guys out to quickly throw on a cable before I towed it home. I have also discovered that the LP gas line inside the trailer to the gas cookstove had not been replaced. I was given no information about the new tires, which they had subbed out to Factory Tire (which was very helpful when I called them about it). OK, the lights worked, so no complaints on that.
  
  However, this little trailer is now in the care of someone out of state who is doing more work on it, and during the rash of storms in Alabama, the trailer leaked terribly, ruining a brand new mattress, and my friends found that the rear end that was "repaired" by Miles was in fact put together wrong. So now I have a ruined bed, and am having to pay someone else to remove the trailer skin and fix the framing properly.
  
  All in all, it seems that I spent over $1,000 to make sure that the lights worked. I don't know if they figured since I only had a little old trailer rather than a big fancy motorhome, that none of this mattered or if this is this is level that their service has dropped to over the years, but man, Bradenton badly needs another option in RV repair!
